I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses, and have been most of my life. And, no, we are not all serious all of the time and have no fun in life. (Although, there is a "time to weep and a time to laugh." as per Eccl 3:4) No greater joy can there be in life than to serve the God who made the heavens and the earth and all of the playful, happy critters thereon.        I live in Southwestern New Mexico, USA in a wonderful place near the mountains and desert. The weather is very mild year-round, and we are incredibly spoiled living in this climate.  There is some history about the area I live in in my link to where I work.      If you have any questions concerning Jehovah's Witnesses, please contact them in your community. They will be glad to help you. I am not interested in getting into any arguments over the subject in Cyberspace (or any other space).      We are about an hour away from the desert and less than an hour away from the tall pine trees.  And, yes, we have mountains all around. When time allows, there are some nice areas to visit.                 Rainfall in this area is only about 10 inches a year, average.  Usually in the summer months (July and August) we will get rainstorms with thunder and lightening.  Lightening is something to be careful of in New Mexico.  There is a high mortality rate for people struck by lightening.  At least there aren't tornados, hurricanes, or earthquakes normally.  Only earthquake is when I'm off line for a while.. the shock wave reaches high proportions.. hehehe.

I enjoy, of course, working on my computer. (Although a computer genius I am NOT--I got help for this web page from Catchclaw.) There is a link to her site on my main page.  I am learning, and have done a couple of web pages for some local businesses in the area.  If you are interested in having a web page done, contact me.  I enjoy working on them, and am willing to try what you may need done (so long as it is legitimate, and not pornographic.)      The more I work with computers, the more I enjoy it.  I've even gotten into tearing up the innards and upgrading or installing hardware.  Nothing worse than someone inside a computer who doesn't know what they are doing!!  One way to learn.  I'm looking for an appropriate cartoon.. that depicts me tearing a puter apart.  I have not found one as of yet!       I like being with my friends, 4-Wheeling, Cross Stitching, Reading, Photography, Watching a Good Movie, Star Trek (of course!), most all Science Fiction,  Music (you'll have to ask, or it may be safer not to!) and  Giving People a Hard Time! :-)   So don't take things too seriously if I'm picking on you.  I only pick on those I like.  I even enjoy my work.  I figure if you are going to spend a great deal of your life at work, you may as well make it enjoyable.  Not that all days go great, but to find the humor in situations does help at times.
